Deep Core Integration (DCI) is an Core and Pelvic Floor Training that is based on TONING mainly, using functional movement and breathing techniques that stretch and tone the deep layers of the core, including the pelvic floor and diaphragm. Group Classes

Experiencing a DCI class. What to expect?

  • Warming up the breath, core and pelvic floor. Switching on those muscles in a fun way.
  • Review of the group and individual's challenges experienced in the last week/s.
  • Targets of the day's session. 
  • Main postural and breathing exercises for the core and the whole body.
  • Cooling down with a short meditation/relaxation.

Expect 2-3 months until your core is reprogrammed and have the main benefits: Waist line reduction, Pelvic floor recovery, reduction of the midline separation for diastasis recti, breathing and energetic enhancement and lower back pain reduction.  If you have a prolapse or hernia, please come regularly and ask for 1-on-1 sessions additionally for your injury and treatment plan.

How to access this training?

Whether you choose to do 4-8 private sessions to be self-sufficient and be able to train on your own, safely and with the necessary knowledge, or join an Introduction Workshop to know more about the importance of a Functional Core and healthy pelvic floor as well as getting started with the method; it will change your life forever as it has changed many other people's including myself (Albert)!

To start with group classes it's best if you have completed any of the following:

1-on-1 Sessions:

Postural Patterns has a unique formula that doesn't apply to a group of people because of it's idiosyncratic nature. We all have our own postural pattern that comes from genetics, copying your parents and idols, social conditioning, individual experiences, emotional and physical trauma, etc. Sunken chest, pelvic tilts, rotated femurs, flat feet arches, forwarded head, asymmetry. Little variations, combinations and permutations that make our structure and function as it is today. 

WHAT IF we would be learning the main treats of our own Postural Pattern and we would be training and stretching for that pattern mostly? OH, BOY! Efficient, gratifying, fulfilling and revealing of your true potential, deepening into yourself and expanding to the world. It's enough of fooling around with endless pains here and there, even if going to the gym 2 times per week and 3 times to your beloved yoga class.    

Albert is an expert in what he does. He will evaluate your Posture and your Core in the first session together with learning the Hypopressive technique. The next 3 sessions will be designed accordingly and their purpose to make his clients self-sufficient training wise. The price of 1 session isn't expensive at all considering that you gain tools rather than depending and leaning on someone. It all depends on the level of responsibility you want to take. 

If you wish to deepen the training after the 4 sessions, it is possible to refine the technique and go into small yet important details of your postural pattern, specially after the actual changes you may have experienced by then. Posture evolves as time passes depending on how you load your tissues and experience your reality. 

During the first 4 sessions there will be postural clues, indications, invitations for parts or your whole body to go towards in order to integrate in a soft and gentle way, the new way. In the sessions after, Albert will use Active Fascial Release techniques, on top of your sports clothes, during your exercises, to feel the tissue underneath and in case there is an actual restriction, use manual techniques to assist you to unlock movements and tissues of your body as a plus.

After completining the first 4 sessions, you will be able to cut down from 1h sessions (group classes) to 20min practice. Or 10min here and there, in case of combining DCI with other training modalities as a warm-up, tonic and recovery, at any time.
