More about Integrative Foot Reflexology
What is Integrative Foot Reflexology?
This session doesn’t only intend to address the symptoms, it's about understanding your body and learning how can we better target our efforts for a good recovery and balance. This therapy is ideal for anyone experiencing pelvic issues, whether it's tightness, weakness, or discomfort, or for those who simply want to optimize pelvic and core function.
Integrative Foot Reflexology goes beyond a traditional foot massage or reflexology session. It combines structural and postural analysis, myofascial and integration work, corrective exercises, and classical foot reflexology into one coherent treatment.
This approach is ideal for people who are curious about how their body works and want to improve posture, balance, or movement, as well as for those simply seeking deep relaxation and relief through the feet.
The session is educational, hands-on, and practical, empowering you to better understand your feet and become more self-sufficient over time.
How Does the Session Work?
The session is divided into four complementary phases, moving from observation and hands-on work to relaxation and integration.
-
Postural & Foot Analysis We start with a global postural observation and a focused foot analysis, including arches, weight distribution and gait. Key structural and functional findings are explained, supported by a printed foot contact image.
-
Structural Integration & Myofascial Work Hands-on fascia-oriented and structural integration techniques are applied to the feet and lower legs, focusing on the key areas identified during the analysis.
-
Corrective Exercises & Self-Care You are guided through simple, targeted exercises and practical tips to support long-term change and help you become more self-sufficient.
-
Reflexology & Deep Relaxation The session concludes with a warm foot bath and reflexology-informed work, allowing for deep relaxation, integration and final feedback. This phase lasts approximately 45 minute

Frequently Asked Questions about Integrative Foot Reflexology

Yes. Your feet shape posture, balance, and how force travels through the whole body. Improvements at the feet often show up as comfort in the knees, hips, and lower back.
Not necessarily. One session can already do a lot. I will give you tools and knowledge apart from the manual treatment, so you can keep investing energy into the new structure and understand the implications to the whole body and system.
In many cases, yes. Especially when addressed early and consistently. Structural work combined with corrective exercises can reduce strain and improve function over time; we'll also look at your footwear, which matters more than most people think.
